Michael Taylor brings 19 years of public education experience to MGT, including 16 years across four different school districts and three years as a strategic consultant. He served as Assistant Superintendent of Business Services for nine years, delivering high-level results in strategic planning, budget management, bond campaigns, and long-term debt. His expertise spans facilities management, contract oversight, labor negotiations, and technology integration.
In addition to his career in education, Michael served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Michael holds a BA in Economics/German from Northwestern University, an MS in Finance from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a certificate of school business management from the University of Southern California. His unique combination of financial acumen and operational leadership ensures that MGT clients receive defensible, data-driven strategies for high-stakes facility decisions.
