GIS Director

Georgia Leonard is the GIS Director at MGT, where she leads a nationally distributed team of experts specializing in spatial analytics and geospatial solutions. Georgia holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Location Analytics from the University of redlands and is a Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP). With nearly two decades of experience, she focuses on turning complex spatial data into actionable intelligence for K-12 districts and public sector clients.

At MGT, Georgia specializes in the implementation of ArcGIS Pro and SchoolSite Pro for enrollment forecasting, school boundary analysis, and district-wide planning. She is recognized for her ability to bridge the gap between technical GIS workflows and executive-level decision-making. Georgia ensures that districts can move beyond spreadsheets by building defensible, “”board-ready”” spatial analyses that provide visual backing for every planning proposal.

As the Track A Lead for the SPC26 School Planning Conference, Georgia directs hands-on training sessions designed to help planners build their own spatial workflows from scratch. Her sessions focus on practical applications, from geocoding raw parcel data to mastering spatial analytics for boundary planning. Her goal is to foster technical self-sufficiency within school districts, empowering personnel to leverage ArcGIS technology to solve real-world infrastructure and demographic challenges.
