TAMPA, FL, May 28, 2026 — MGT, a national technology and advisory solutions firm serving state, local and education government agencies (SLED), announced today the appointments of Omar Bhatti as EVP, MGT & President, Technology Solutions Group, and Adam Appleby as EVP, MGT & President, Advisory Solutions. The appointments reflect MGT’s continued investment in scaling its technology and advisory capabilities to help public-sector organizations excel as they innovate and navigate complex performance agendas.
MGT is shifting its operating model to maximize expert technology and advisory capability impact on client outcomes. The additions of Bhatti and Appleby support the firm’s broader strategy to drive growth and integration across Advisory and MGT’s Technology capabilities.

Bhatti will lead MGT’s Technology Solutions Group (TSG), which provides technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed services, cloud, and modernization solutions for SLED agencies nationwide. He brings more than two decades of leadership experience across enterprise technology services, customer operations, managed services, and operational transformation. At MGT, Bhatti will focus on strengthening operational excellence across TSG while advancing integration, customer experience, and scalable service delivery capabilities that support the firm’s continued growth trajectory.
Appleby will lead MGT’s newly aligned Advisory Solutions organization, bringing together the firm’s advisory, management consulting, and social impact capabilities into an integrated enterprise platform designed to better serve SLED clients. He brings decades of public-sector leadership, operational management, and transformation experience, with a career focused on leading complex organizations through growth, integration, and performance transformation initiatives. At MGT, Appleby will focus on strengthening organizational alignment, accelerating growth, and delivering connected solutions across advisory and technology domains.
