Sabiné Harvey-Assih is a Program Manager at MGT. She is the executive lead for the Effective Schools Framework (ESF) project in Texas where she works alongside TEA and various superintendents, school leaders and teachers across multiple K-12 districts supporting the successful implementation of research based best practices to improve system effectiveness and student outcomes.
Sabiné has a record of building productive partnerships, and authentic relationships with staff, community members, and other key stakeholders to ensure strong systems and strategies are in place to accelerate student learning. She is a skilled program implementation specialist that approaches challenges with both optimism and accountability. Sabiné prides herself on being an adaptable and transformational leader with an ability to work independently while developing opportunities that further establish organizational goals.
She is passionate about partnering with historically marginalized communities and has committed her career to working towards educational equity. Prior to joining MGT, Sabiné helped to establish a middle school, transform several low performing campuses, and improved student performance in multiple districts within Texas and New York. Sabiné believes strongly that every child and adult can succeed beyond their goals if provided with the necessary support, skills and resources. Her work focuses on developing strong instructional and equitable leaders to lead high performing public and charter schools —and supporting students’ success beyond the classroom. Sabiné holds a Master of Science in Public Policy from Drexel University, as well as a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University at Albany.
