Esau Joya is a seasoned Project Manager at MGT, with over a decade of experience in providing comprehensive enrollment forecasting, redistricting, and custom GIS mapping services for school districts. Since joining MGT in 2013, he has successfully partnered with more than 40 school districts, delivering critical insights and strategic planning support. Esau’s expertise in student population forecasting, attendance area realignment, and cloud-based mapping applications has enabled districts to make data-driven decisions on student staffing, facility needs, and school consolidation. Known for his meticulous research and hands-on approach, Esau has played a pivotal role in managing growth impacts in fast-developing areas, ensuring that educational institutions can adapt effectively to changing demographics. Esau holds an M.B.A. from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona and a B.S. in Urban and Regional Planning with a minor in GIS from the same institution. His strong educational background, combined with his practical experience in using advanced GIS tools like ArcGIS and SchoolSite™ Planning Software, positions him as a leading expert in educational planning and demographic analysis. Esau is also a dedicated trainer, sharing his knowledge of GIS software products with school personnel to enhance their operational efficiency and strategic planning capabilities.
